ABOUT THE AUTHOR
One might say that Robert Oster has had a long checkered career. Maybe zig-zag would be a better term. Making his stage debut as the baby in Madame Butterfly at three years of age, his next nineteen years were spent as a child actor. Bob subsequently appeared in over 250 live TV, Broadway stage and film performances.
Bob briefly tried his hand as a jazz saxophonist and as a disc jockey while completing his college and post-graduate studies in psychology.
Dr. Oster retired from a long career working for various New York City and State government agencies. He also had his own private practice as a psychotherapist specializing in hypnotherapy and was a partner of a distinguished wellness education and management training company.
Dr. Oster taught at Queensboro Community College, Nassau Community College and C.W. Post-Long Island University.
Robert currently resides in Central New Jersey with his wife Judy, a college professor and their two rescued cats, Striker and Sashi.
