Private detective Rob Braxton's plans to shut down his failing investigations agency are thwarted by the sudden appearance of an ex-convict Rob arrested two decades earlier.

  The former bank robber has come to Rob for help after discovering a plain pine coffin containing the body of a dead woman in the office where he has a nighttime job.

  Rob believes the dead woman's body may hold clues to the whereabouts of his teenage sister who mysteriously disappeared when he was twelve years old.
